Bachata & Cuban Salsa
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic steps and movements of two of the world’s most beloved partner dances! These beginner classes will focus on individual technique, introduce you to partner dancing (leading and following), and share about the culture of the dance forms.
These will be beginner classes — no prior experience necessary! The only prerequisite is your eagerness to learn and have a great time.

We will be leaving from Adirondack Circle, transportation will be provided most days, but there will be times when you may need to arrange your own transportation or take the Tri-Valley bus. If you have any questions, you can email the club for further information

Skin and Ski at the Bowl: Practice trip for the Chic Chocs
This trip will introduce the Chic Choc participants to backcountry/Alpine touring equipment, uphill travel, and will serve as an assessment of skill prior to the Feb Break trip. On Thursday, January 9th, we’ll meet at the Gear room in the FIC at 4:30pm to introduce and fit participants with equipment.
On Friday, January 10th, we’ll meet at 12:30pm and travel to the Middlebury Snowbowl for a ski tour, using their uphill policy. We will return around 4pm.
***Previous alpine ski experience required***
