This workshop invites us to focus inward, to build resilience and reduce anxiety, vicarious trauma and burnout from engaging in social and environmental justice, and understand how radical self-care fuels the work. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic steps and movements of two of the world’s most beloved partner dances! These beginner classes will focus on individual technique, introduce you to partner dancing (leading and following), and share about the culture of the dance forms.
These will be beginner classes — no prior experience necessary! The only prerequisite is your eagerness to learn and have a great time.
