Sunday Night Environmental Group (SNEG) is a non-hierarchical student org committed to climate and social justice activism. In the past we have pushed the college to divest from fossil fuels, passed anti-fossil fuel infrastructure resolutions in town, trained students on methods of non-violent direct action, occupied the statehouse, organized climate strikes, and so much more. We strive to ground our work in anti-racism, indigenous sovereignty, and community power. Our contemporary age of migration is also a time of “crisis,” with movements from global south to global north perpetually framed in emergency terms.
