Students present on campus are welcome to join the Rugby Club practices. Led by our coach and club-elected co-captains, practice consists of familiarizing players with ball handling, game rules, plays, and lots of fun!

Set in 1950s Pittsburgh, the film adaptation of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play takes a passionate look at former baseball player Troy Maxson (Denzel Washington) as he fights to provide for those he loves in a world that threatens to push him down. Denzel Washington also directed the film.

Poet Ye Mimi has been called “among the most innovative poets and filmmakers to have emerged in Taiwan in the twenty-first century.” She will screen three of her short films (40 minutes total): “They Are There But I Am Not,” made while Ms. Ye was at the Art Institute of Chicago; “Hail the Bodhisattva of Collected Junk,” a collaboration with Taiwanese singer Ro Sirong; and “Cease Susurrating,” which is dedicated to Ms. Ye’s late husband and is an abstracted depiction of funerals in Indonesia.
