    Every Tuesday morning (9:00 – 10:30) during Winter Term, the CTLR Lounge will be reserved as a quiet space for Writing in Community. We are happy to support you in the production of your scholarly and creative work. Light breakfast food as well as coffee and tea will be available for those who want to make progress on their work in the presence of colleagues who aim to be equally productive.

  • Pedagogy Series - "Development of Curriculum" Workshop

    On Tuesday, January 30, members of the Educational Affairs Committee, Faculty Council, Strategy Committee, and the Curriculum Committee will provide their perspective on how curricular issues impact their committee work. What intriguing questions do they see emerging around our curriculum and where do they see the curriculum needing to go in the future?

    Please register for in-person (by January 26) or online participation. In-person lunch/gathering begins at 12:15. The presentation will begin at 12:30.

    Crossfit Middlebury hosts 1 hour workouts open to all students. Crossfit is “constantly varied, high-intensity functional movement” — a mix of gymnastics, weightlifing, and cardio.     Spencer Prize in Oratory 2024 Grand Championship

    In honor of the late Professor Emeritus and former trustee John Spencer, Oratory Now is pleased to present the seventh annual speech competition for first-year students. Qualifying rounds culminate in this Championship event featuring the 2024 finalists. Details are at oratorynow.org/spencer.
