    UPDATE: This is virtual only - all are welcome to stream online. At the dawn of the twentieth century, Pedro arrives in Tierra del Fuego, a violent and hostile territory, to immortalize the marriage of a powerful landowner. Fascinated with the bride-to-be’s beauty, he betrays the rules and is left to face a land crawling with violence and marked by the genocide of its indigenous inhabitants. In Spanish with English subtitles. (1 hour 40 minutes.) Free. A Hirschfield International Film Series event.

    Steven Sondheim is regarded as one of the best Musical Theatre makers of our time. In celebration of his life, the Musical Theatre Club will be meeting to discuss all things Sondheim – favorite shows, songs that moved us, and personal experiences with his work.   • CANCELLED -- Lessons & Carols for Advent and Christmas I

    UPDATE, DEC. 10:  The programs were printed and the greens were hung, the poinsettias were placed and the choir was warming up!  Sunday afternoon and evening promised to be a festive and meaningful celebration of Advent and Christmas. Regrettably, due to the increased number of Covid cases on campus, out of an abundance of caution we are not able to gather for this annual celebration of Lessons and Carols.

    MixxedFit® is a people-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning. Everything about this dance fitness program is explosive– movements are big, full-out, and our very best! As a licensed MixxedFit® instructor, Sarah combines original, easy-to-follow dance choreographies with bodyweight toning exercises to provide a dance-party-meets-HIIT group fitness experience. She is thrilled to be able to support the MIIS community access wellness in body, spirit, and mind through dance fitness!
