Join George Matthew Jr. on his 90th birthday as he plays a beautiful concert from Middlebury Chapel’s bell tower. The melodic sounds of the carillon bells will ring out across the campus. This concert, as part of the New England Chapter American Bell Association (NECABA), will feature works by Bach and Haydn as well as a mix of traditional Irish, Ukrainian, and Mexican songs. The Korean American Student Association is planning the annual Korean Culture Show (KCS)! Through KCS, Korean culture, and social issues are highlighted in a variety of ways. The first KCS underscored the Sewol Ferry Tragedy while subsequent years covered mental health and colonial resistance. The show itself had students reading poems by Koreans, playing traditional Korean drums, and singing accompanied by acoustic instruments in the past along with Korean Pop performances. We hope to have a variety of acts this year as well and celebrate Korean Culture.

Leigha Francis ‘25, Brys Peralta-Grant ‘25, and Liefe Temple ‘25.5 share an evening of their culminating senior work, exploring and sharing themes of home, history, rituals, culture, and identity. The College Choir presents a spring concert of powerful, playful, and pensive choral music by composers from Brazil, Mexico, Ukraine, England, and Italy, as well as Spiritual, folk, and new music from the USA. Choir and instrumentalists perform the Vermont premiere of selections from the new cantata, We Are Phoenix (2025), by Minnesota composer Timothy Takach, and Vermont musician Tom Mackenzie joins on hammered dulcimer for music of and inspired by folk traditions. Join us for this non-chronological whirlwind of a love story, starring Mandy Berghela and Aidan Armstrong. Senior thesis work in directing for Sophie Butler-Rahman and independent intermediate work for Alex Garcia in lighting design and Juli Valle in costume design.
