  • Spring 2021 Student Activities Fair

    The Student Activities Fair will be held virtually this year March 1st-5th from 4:00-6:30 PM! Drop in to virtual tables to speak with student leaders and see how you can get involved! Each day is reserved for specific categories of organizations.

  • SAO Presents: Noman's Land Film Festival

    Register for a free ticket (or tickets for you and 4 friends) for the Noman’s Land Film Festival.  Students who are studying on-campus will be invited to come and watch the feature films starting at 7pm on Thursday 3/4, Friday 3/5 and Saturday 3/6 in person, if the public health landscape allows.  Please check the campus status

  • Together While Apart: A Support Group Space for Students in Q/I

    This support group space is open to all Middlebury in-person and remote students who are in quarantine or isolation. The focus of this support group is connecting with one another, sharing your experiences, and together identifying ways to cope during a time that can feel isolating and uncertain. This support group space is a weekly, mostly drop-in group (students still need to “sign up” by reaching out to group counselor to request zoom link) offered through the Spring 2021 semester.

  • Bio-Psyc Seminar - "Men Are from Earth, Women Are from Earth: Science vs. the Media on Gender Differences"

    Seminar by Janet Shibley Hyde, PhD, Univ of Wisconsin, Madison: “Men Are from Earth, Women Are from Earth: Psychological Gender Differences and Similarities”. The media portray women and men as vastly different psychologically – Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. Is this portrayal accurate, or are women and men actually similar psychologically? Prof. Hyde answers these questions using massive data sets and the technique of meta-analysis.

  • Basic Figure Skating Lesson 1-1:30pm

    The Figure Skating Club will be providing free 30-minute learn-to-skate lessons on the outdoor ice rink on March 6th! There will be two sessions, one 1-1:30pm, and another 2-2:30pm, with some free skate time afterward. Skates and helmets will be provided to borrow for free. Since these are just 30 minutes the lessons will be super basic, and there are only 8 slots per session!

  • Hirschfield International Film Series: Two Of Us

    Two retired women, Nina (Barbara Sukowa) and Madeleine (Martine Chevallier), have been secretly in love for decades. Everybody, including Madeleine’s family, thinks they are simply neighbors, sharing the top floor of their building. They come and go between their two apartments, enjoying the affection and pleasures of daily life together, until an unforeseen event turns their relationship upside down and leads Madeleine’s daughter to gradually unravel the truth about them. In French with English subtitles. (1 hour 39 minutes).
