  • Create Your First College Résumé: A Workshop for New Students Planning to Apply for On-Campus Jobs

    Are you a first-year student planning to apply for on-campus jobs this semester? The Center for Careers and Internships (CCI) is ready to help you create your first college résumé. Come from 7:00-7:30 pm either night for a presentation on how to transform the skills and experience you’ve gained through classes, jobs, and other activities into a strong, professional Middlebury résumé. Stay as long as you want to work on your résumé. CCI’s Peer Career Advisors will be on hand to provide personalized feedback and guidance.

  • Neurodivergent Minds @ Midd

    This is an ongoing drop-in group for Neurodivergent students who would like a place to “be” with others in an affirming and neurodivergent friendly space.

    Each week there will be a topic offered to increase awareness and understanding of neurodivergence as a social awareness movement as well as practical skills on befriending oneself and understanding one’s own divergence.

    We are looking for student singer/actor/dancer/instrumentalists!

    Vocal rehearsals will start in the fall, 2024.  Blocking rehearsals and performances will take place in J-term, 2025.

  • Opening Reception: An Invitation to Awe

    After several years in the works, the MCMA is excited to present “An Invitation to Awe,” curated by Professor of the History of Art and Architecture Katy Smith Abbott in collaboration with her students and colleagues. In this exhibition, older paintings and prints are displayed in conversation with contemporary objects, scientific equipment, and interactive work that compels the viewer to think of how awe is experienced through senses other than sight and to expand their own understanding of where awe lives now.

    Never been on a stage at Middlebury? Then this is for YOU! Get ready to showcase your talent in this fast-paced, ensemble production directed by our Artist in Residence faculty member, Ashley Nicole Baptiste. Come prepared with a 1-2 min monologue that represents you as an actor. You will be cast in scenes based on your audition.
    Backed by a team of passionate student designers and crew, this production offers an exciting opportunity to dive into the vibrant world of the Theatre Department.
