  • Auditions for the J-term Musical

    Doug Anderson and Carol Christensen will be holding auditions for the annual J-term musical in MAC room 221 on Thursday, Sept. 16th, from 7-10 pm, and on Friday, Sept. 17th, from 4-7 pm, with callbacks on Sunday, Sept. 19th, from 1-4 pm. Please prepare a Broadway song, and be prepared to read from the script. Callbacks will include solo and ensemble singing and a dance audition. Vocal rehearsals begin in the fall semester.

  • Vermont Academy of Science and Engineering Annual Fall Meeting

    The Vermont Academy of Science and Engineering (VASE), will host its annual fall meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 2021 at 5:00pm on the Middlebury College campus. This meeting will convene in-person for the first time since 2019, and will be offered in compliance with current COVID-19 guidelines. VASE is excited to be hosting Dr. Bill McKibben who will deliver a keynote address on the topic of climate change and global warming. This meeting is open to the general public and it will begin with a brief awards ceremony to honor VASE’s Outstanding Science Teacher of the Year awardees.

  • Officer Clemmons: A Reading and Book Signing with Dr. François S. Clemmons

    Hear Middlebury singer, author, and celebrity Francois Clemmons read from his debut memoir, now out in paperback. Known to the world from his role on “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” Dr. Clemmons has long been known locally as the Alexander Twilight Artist in Residence and director of the Martin Luther King Spiritual Choir at Middlebury College, where he served from 1997 until his retirement in 2003. He is also an actor, activist, and Grammy Award–winning singer.
