Peace Corps Club Virtual Happy Hour

The First Friday of April is coming up! Peace Corps Club is going to be hosting another First Friday Virtual Happy Hour this Friday April 2nd at 5 PM Pacific / 8 PM Eastern! You’re welcome to bring your friends and pets! You can bring drinks, but they’re not required. Hangout, socialize, network, and stay hydrated with your MIIS Peace Corps community and remember we’ll be doing this again next month on the First Friday of the month! We know tuning in to virtual events can be challenging after a week of classes, but we hope you join us! Virtual events are hosted on Zoom, so no mask necessary!

Peace Corps Club Conversation with Dr. Christina Kwauk

Dr. Christina Kwauk, the 2021 William H. and Susanne S. Tyler Visiting Fellow in Residence, will be joining the Peace Corps club this Friday March 26 at 11-12PM PST / 2-3PM EDT to continue the conversation on gender equality and the climate crisis. We’ll be talking about girls’ education, climate education in schools, and the impact these have together on finding solutions to the climate crisis. Let’s talk about the importance of climate education and how we can embolden teachers to prepare future generations of equitable climate-related problem solvers.

Advancing African Women's Leadership: A Conversation with special guest Verlaine-Diane Soobroydoo
