Join Barbara Ofosu-Somuah ’13 for a Fulbright and Watson fellowships talk with Dean Lisa Gates.

Barbara, who has received both a Fulbright and Watson, studied psychology, sociology and Italian at Middlebury. During her Watson, she explored the role of hair in Black, Latina and multiracial cultures in several countries. During her Fulbright, she examined diversity and inclusion efforts in Italian schools.

Ear Training

Ear Training: These informal gatherings are for musicians of any kind who want to work on ear training, including sight reading, rhythms, dictation, canons, and chorales. The focus will be slightly geared toward choral singing, though all are welcome and it would be beneficial for non-choral singers as well.

Driver Training

This one and a half hour training program is required for anyone who will drive a College vehicle, including rental of a College passenger vehicle or 15-passenger van. There is no cost for the class. NOTE: A driving orientation (a 1 hour review on the road) is required for 15-passenger vans and larger vehicles. You must have also had a valid state driver’s license for at least 3 years in order to drive a 15-passenger van.
