Francisco (“sco”) Peschiera is a Senior Manager at Doblin, the innovation practice within Deloitte Consulting. He helps clients develop their innovation strategy, design new offerings and businesses, and build their capabilities to become better innovators. Sco has in-depth experience in Consumer Products, Retail, Travel / Leisure, Healthcare, and Financial Services. Sco was a Psychology and Economics double major at Middlebury and received his MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Information Session for Russian School Students (in Russian)

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is an independent agency responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior US policymakers. Join us for this information session with an agency representative who will discuss career options within the CIA. The ability to foster the acquisition and maintenance of foreign language skills is an imperative at the CIA because of the global nature our intelligence gathering efforts.

Join Andrew Eisen ’08, an American Literature major with a degree in creative writing as he talks and shares tips about the work he does for producers at SunDial Pictures and Management 360 amongst others. He never really considered writing as profession and thought he needed to get a corporate job. Is that you too? After the economy tanked and he lost his job he started writing scripts and never really stopped. He flirted with law school (twice) but kept at the writing.

Learn about internships, volunteering and employment on and off campus this summer! The Student Employment Office will provide information about finding a job on campus, the costs of living on campus (including housing and food options), and important deadlines. The Center for Careers & internships will provide information on finding or creating an internship, the Center for Community Engagement will provide information on how to find an opportunity for volunteering and the Undergraduate Research Office will provide information on working as a summer research assistant.

UpNext Tech: Technology in the Biomedical Research Field (TBD)

Peter Jacoby ‘01 will share his experiences working in technology roles in the healthcare and biomedical research fields for over 15 years. More than just an IT service provider, many companies now position internal groups as technical partners in clinical delivery and the drug discovery process. Peter will share guidance for those interested in learning more about technology careers in healthcare and biomedical research.
