Charlotte has had a long career working in the pharmaceutical industry, has served on countless boards, and is considered an expert in the field of career planning. A Field Guide for Foreign Languages, Cultures and Literatures Majors

The “Field Guide for Foreign Languages, Cultures and Literatures Majors” brings back Foreign Languages alumni to help students think broadly about where their study in Foreign Languages, Cultures and Literatures might take them, and learn about the many career paths developed by alumni. The Field Guide is designed to answer the perennial question, “What can I do with my liberal arts major or degree?” The Field Guide features an alumni panel, followed by an informal reception, allowing students, alumni, and faculty to connect.

Francisco (“sco”) Peschiera is a Senior Manager at Doblin, the innovation practice within Deloitte Consulting. He helps clients develop their innovation strategy, design new offerings and businesses, and build their capabilities to become better innovators. Sco has in-depth experience in Consumer Products, Retail, Travel / Leisure, Healthcare, and Financial Services. Sco was a Psychology and Economics double major at Middlebury and received his MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is an independent agency responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior US policymakers. Join us for this information session with an agency representative who will discuss career options within the CIA. The ability to foster the acquisition and maintenance of foreign language skills is an imperative at the CIA because of the global nature our intelligence gathering efforts.

Join Andrew Eisen ’08, an American Literature major with a degree in creative writing as he talks and shares tips about the work he does for producers at SunDial Pictures and Management 360 amongst others. He never really considered writing as profession and thought he needed to get a corporate job. Is that you too? After the economy tanked and he lost his job he started writing scripts and never really stopped. He flirted with law school (twice) but kept at the writing.
