Together While Apart: A Support Group Space for Students in Q/I

This support group space is open to all Middlebury in-person and remote students who are in quarantine or isolation. The focus of this support group is connecting with one another, sharing your experiences, and together identifying ways to cope during a time that can feel isolating and uncertain. This support group space is a weekly, mostly drop-in group (students still need to “sign up” by reaching out to group counselor to request zoom link) offered through the Spring 2021 semester.

Body-Focused Relaxation

Stress and anxiety can really take a toll on the body. Simple practices like moving meditation, self-massage, and gentle stretching can release some of the tension we’re feeling and help us feel more balanced.

In these drop-in sessions, we’ll explore body-oriented techniques for helping to center and calm our bodies and minds, including techniques from tai chi chuan, progressive muscle relaxation, self-massage, and more.

Starting January 19 and running through February 12
Tuesdays and Fridays, 1-1:30pm EST
