With climate change accelerating and the Trump administration rolling back environmental protections, the Democrats have come out with an ambitious new plan to go big on climate policy, called the “Green New Deal.” Professor Jason Scorse will discuss both the policy and politics of this new agenda during this online discussion.

Repair Cafe

The Sustainability Solutions Lab is hosting their first repair cafe in the Freeman International Center. Students and community members can bring broken items such as gadgets, jewelry, clothing, or small appliances. Basic repair tools such as hot glue guns, nails and hammers, and sewing materials will be provided in order to fix these items. Volunteers will also be available in order to help try to fix these items and provide guidance for use of the machinery in the Makerspace.
