Free Heelers

Join us for a telemark ski clinic at Mad River Glen. Instruction will be provided by the Mad River Glen Ski School.  Attendance is limited and you must be registered through the freeheelers to attend this event.

This event is open to all - skiers, boarders, and everything in between. Competition features will include rails, boxes, and small jumps. Anyone can compete! Or feel from to come and chill!  If you love live DJs, hot cocoa, donuts, night skiing, and prizes, then BE THERE and bring your friends!

A big yellow bus will arrive at ADK Circle at 4:30 pm and will depart the Snowbowl at 7:30 pm. Alternatively, feel free to drive separately or ride on the TVT Shuttle

A telemark ski clinic at the SnowBowl by the FreeHeelers and FIRE. The clubs will provide skis and tickets. All experiences are welcome but comfort on skis recommended.

Come skin up the Snow Bowl with the FreeHeelers! All levels are welcome, you don’t have to be teleing but it is encouraged! We will leave campus at 9:30 and should be done by 12

When: Saturday, November 6th, 9am-2pm (register for a 1 hour time slot)
Where: Middlebury College Snow Bowl
Who: Anyone (bring your ID!)
Pre-registration not required but very helpful Register here!

No gathering at base.
Face coverings required at start/finish area.
Facilities will be closed.
Patrol hut will be open

You can register as a single or a group, and you may register more than once!

We, the middlebury Free Heelers will gather at the snowbowl at 3pm on Saturday October 16th to hike up and back down the bowl. We are going to enjoy the fresh air and fall leaves and snacks! We will plan on leaving ADK at around 2:30 to head up and will have enough cars for evreyone who wants to come!

Gear hours are the main meeting of the Free Heelers! During this time we will help any interested party check out skis, boots, skins, and poles for back country skiing! Meetings are held in the Gear room which is located in the same place as the bike shop and SKIGA rental location. ALL GEAR IS 100% FREE!!!!!
