Feminist Self-Defense Class

All women and LGBTQ people that are Middlebury students, staff, and faculty are welcome to join us on Nov 9th and 10th for Feminist self-defense classes followed by a discussion on rape as a form of biopower. Class will be taught by Ruthie Brown (class of 2025.5), who is a 2nd degree black belt in Cuong Nhu and has taught self-defense in the US, Brazil, Colombia, and Nepal. Students will learn various mental and physical techniques that emerged in Cuong Nhu, Judo, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, and Kickboxing.
