M Gallery’s Spring 2026 exhibition, Tools For the Future has finally arrived. Join us at the Old Stone Mill (82 Weybridge Street) from 7-9 PM Friday, May 1st, and 1-3 PM Saturday, May 2nd, to enjoy a glimpse of the future. We asked artists on campus to think ahead with optimism and to create objects that help create, ponder, and explore a future they wish to live in. These objects, alongside our own contributions (displayed during the Nocturne Festival) will be displayed on the first floor of the Old Stone Mill.
To Be Announced
Sake scholar and Award-Winning Author Nancy Matsumoto will be giving a 45-minute lecture on Japan’s national drink, its history, the state of its industry, its cultural influences, and how it’s being affected by climate change. She will also be discussing her James Beard Award-winning book, Exploring the World of Japanese Craft Sake, in which she and Michael Tremblay listen to stories from sake producers and distributors from around the world.

Described by Edward Albee as “the greatest American play ever written,” Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Our Town presents the small town of Grover’s Corners from 1901 – 1913. It’s three acts are, “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage” and “Death and Eternity.” Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, the play depicts the simple daily lives of the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die.
