Projects for Peace is a global program that partners with educational institutions to identify and support young peacebuilders.
Each year, we grant $1.25 million to student leaders who are developing innovative, community-centered, and scalable responses to the world’s most pressing issues.

Every year, 125 or more student leaders are each awarded a grant of $10,000 to implement a “Project for Peace,” typically between May and August. Most grantees are undergraduates.
The program encourages young adults to develop innovative, community-centered, and scalable responses to the world’s most pressing issues. Read On Alumni Award

Since our founding by Kathryn W. Davis in 2007, Projects for Peace has sought “movers and shakers” on college campuses who are ready to dedicate a summer to their vision for peace.
Successful Projects for Peace grantees take time to consider what peace could look like and how they might meaningfully contribute.
They also have a deep appreciation for the context, communities, and/or cultures where the project takes place.
