The Joys & Challenges of Team Teaching: A Faculty Panel Discussion, Tuesday 3/10, 12:00 - 1:00 PM, MBH 209
To collaborate with colleagues in a semester-long teaching partnership can be a deeply meaningful and eye-opening experience. It can also pose challenges when seeking to balance different pedagogical priorities and align teaching styles. A panel of team teachers will share their wisdom based on years of experience navigating and finding joy in this collective effort. Whether you’re team teaching now or next year or just wanting to consider it for the longer term, you are welcome to join us for a lunch discussion on Tuesday, March 10, from 12:00–1:00 PM in MBH 209 (upstairs in the Q-Center). For catering purposes, please register by Friday, 3/6.

Community-of-Practice Breakfast Gathering for Project-Based Learning and Community-Connected Learning, Wednesday 3/18, 8:15 - 9:15 AM at Shiretown Market
If you want to learn more about Project-Based Learning and/or Community-Connected Learning or you’re already engaged in these pedagogical approaches, come join a group that supports each other every month over free food. We will next gather over breakfast at Shiretown on Wednesday, March 18, from 8:15–9:15 AM or however long you can stay. Members of the CTLR and CCE will be there to facilitate a conversation shaped by what practitioners bring to the table. We’ll have a tab open at the counter. No registration necessary.

Community-of-Practice Lunch Gathering for Grappling with AI in Education, Thursday 3/19, 12:00-1:15 PM, CTLR Lounge
The CTLR and DLINQ are back at it this Spring with their Community-of-Practice support group for educators interested in exploring questions related to AI in education. If you’re skeptical, curious, or already dabbling in how to use AI with intention in your work with students, you are welcome to join us for casual, collegial conversation each month. This is an opportunity to lean on and learn from each other. This semester, we will meet for lunch one Thursday a month. In March, we will gather for a catered meal on Thursday, the 19th, at 12:00 PM in the CTLR. Arrive when you can; stay for as long as you like. Please do register for this event by Thursday, 3/12, so that we can be sure to have enough food for you.

When Cheating Rears Its Ugly Head: How to Talk with Students about Honor Code Violations, Thursday 4/2, 12:00 - 1:15 PM, CTLR Lounge
What should we do when we strongly suspect a student of having broken the honor code? What are the best practices for approaching students in such cases? How can we build trust and a spirit of academic integrity, especially when generative A.I. now makes cheating so easy and so tempting? Join us for a discussion organized by the Academic Integrity Committee with faculty and students who have been through the judicial process and come out the other side intact. For catering purposes, please register by Thursday, 3/26.
