Megan Mayhew Bergman

Megan Mayhew Bergman, Director of the Bread Loaf Environmental Writers’ Conference, currently teaches undergraduates at Middlebury College. She’s also an environmental columnist for The Guardian, the author of two books, and a Senior Fellow at the Conservation Law Foundation in Boston. Previously, she served as the Associate Director of Bennington’s MFA Program and completed a fellowship at the American Library in Paris. Her work has been featured in the New Yorker, New York Times, Paris Review, NPR’s Selected Shorts, McSweeney’s, Ploughshares, Oxford American, and Best American Short Stories in 2011 and 2015.
