The Chicago Chapter of the Middlebury College Alumni Association cordially invites you to join alumni, parents, and friends for a reception and lecture by Professor of History, Jim Ralph ’84.
“What is Remembered? Historical Memory and Chicago: A View from the Frontlines” Professor Ralph was the project historian for the 40th anniversary commemoratin of the Chicago Freedom Movement (Martin Luther King, Jr.’s campaign to make Chicago an open city) in 2006. He will explore why some episodes in Chicago’s past are more fully remembered than others.
