The Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy (MMLA), comprising students from grade 7 through 12, is four weeks of learning a language while enjoying all the activity and camaraderie of summer camp.
MMLA students learn from the world’s best language teachers and benefit from immersion in foreign cultures, small learning groups, art, drama, music, field trips, and more.
MMLA students experience over 240 hours of direct language teaching and exposure, compared to 180 hours in most school-year language classes!

Students of all levels are welcome to continue studying a language they have already begun, or to start a new language altogether.
Languages taught at MMLA include Arabic, Chinese, French, and Spanish.
The cost of MMLA is $4,000, including room and board. Financial aid may be available.
