    Join your 1976 classmates for a spirited 9 or 18 holes of golf at the beautiful Ralph Myhre Golf Course! Complimentary tee times available from 10:00–11:00 AM.     Join Tim Parsons, head horticulturist, for a short walk around campus. He will talk about the trees, shrubs, and flowers on the grounds and explain how the College manages the landscape and prepares for the future in a changing world.   • 55th Reunion Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) Walk

    Join classmates for a walk on the Red Kelly Trail (a section of the Trail Around Middlebury). Meet at Kirk Alumni Center and enjoy a 1.6 mile loop. The biggest hill will be heading back up to Alumni Center! Participants can park by the football stadium and walk to Kirk if parking is limited at the golf course.

    Take a bus tour (on Friday or Saturday) to see some of the newest additions to campus while revisiting familiar spots along the way. Space is limited and sign-up is required.   • 60th Reunion Discussion: Aging Well…and “miles to go before we sleep”

    Join classmates to discuss how we’re living in retirement, where we’re residing, and how best to maintain social and physical health. We’ll provide a platform for each of us to reintroduce ourselves, share aspects of life 60 years after graduation, and set the stage for a weekend of camaraderie. We’ve set aside ample time for conversation. Classmates may opt to leave after 3:30 for other activities.

    Middlebury’s environmental teaching, sustainability commitments, and student advocacy have made outsized impacts for decades. We’ve set bold goals, challenged each other, and learned an enormous amount.

    • Chipman Hill Hike - meet Susan Ballard and Jen Forelli at the trailhead at 504 Washington Street for a 2.2-mile scenic, wooded hike. The hike should take about 1.5 hours.

    • Vergennes Loop Road Cycle Ride - meet Michael Rawding at Frog Hollow Bikes, 74 Main Street, ready to ride! The Vergennes loop is about 27 miles and may take up to 3.5 hours.

  • Traces of Time screening and Q&A with Filmmaker Sim Hutner ’81

    Set in Vermont and filmed over six years, Traces of Time follows the final chapter in the life of filmmaker Sim Hutner’s mother with striking intimacy and restraint. The film won the Shouldice Family Prize for Best Vermont-Made Film at the 2025 Middlebury new Filmmakers Festival.

    One of the highlights of the weekend! Listen to George Matthews, Jr., play the carillon as the classes march in reverse order up the hill to the chapel, beginning with the Class of 2021. Members of the Classes of 1951 through 2021 by 4:00 p.m. on Old Chapel lawn, next to their reunion year class banners. For those who cannot or do not want to walk in the parade, please join your class at the chapel steps.

    Mingle with friends old and new on Battell Beach and grab a drink or a bite to eat before or after your class’s scheduled dinner.
