Recapture the Moment: Videos from Reunion 2012
All in the FamilyFrom alumnae in the Classes of ’37 and ’42 to the members of the Class of 2007 back for their first reunion, Middlebury alumni came together in Mead Chapel at Reunion Convocation on Saturday. In participating in Convocation, alumni are joining in a tradition that goes back to 1850 and the first reunion held in conjunction with Middlebury's semi-centennial. As President Liebowitz did this year, then President Benjamin Labaree addressed alumni at Convocation but in Old Chapel, which was then one of only three buildings on campus. |

Cosmic GeometryVermont artist Sabra Field ’57 shares the back story of the College's newest work of art—a monumental new mural entitled Cosmic Geometry—and shares insights into its creation. Championed by Kate Lupo ’10 and commissioned by the committee on art in public places, the three-story mural illustrates the effects that spiraling, tiling, branching, and scaling have on nature. (The video was recorded at Field's talk on the same subject at Reunion 2011.)
