The Power of Internship Opportunities
Dristy Shrestha '11.5 spent her last summer before graduation immersed in microfinance. At FINCA International in Washington, D.C., she worked with two Middlebury alums and other colleagues to further the organization's mission of alleviating poverty in developing countries. FINCA provides micro loans to women in poor communities around the world, giving them the means to support their families through small-scale entrepreneurship.
