Middlebury's influence for positive change begins with each individual student and ripples around the world. See the impact of gifts to Middlebury through the stories of our students, faculty, alumni, donors, and friends.

Applying the Liberal Arts

Dristy Shrestha '11.5 spent her last summer before graduation immersed in microfinance.

During her internship with FINCA International in Washington, D.C., she worked with two Middlebury alums and other colleagues to further the organization's mission of alleviating poverty in developing countries.

The Annual Fund

Vice President of the Middlebury College Alumni Association Robert ‘Bobo’ Sideli ’77, P’08, ’13 explains why participation matters. According to Bobo, every gift to Middlebury, no matter how small, adds up to change students lives for the better—more than you might think possible!

Financial Aid

When Barbara Ofosu-Somuah '13 first arrived at Middlebury as a member of Posse 11, she intended to become a cardiothoracic surgeon. But her journey over the past two years has revealed other ways the human heart can be touched. Through it all, the Posse Program, sustained at the College by Middlebury financial aid, has been a vital source of encouragement.
