Why I volunteer for Middlebury: Middlebury College "believed" in me! I felt at home as soon as I arrived and connected with professors/students instantly. I experienced the warmth of Vermonters through my host family, John Quinn/Maggie Stebbins, celebrated my diversity with like minded peers and embraced the liberal arts curriculum. I graduated in 1991 (Phi Beta Kappa), with a major in economics and minors in theater and women's studies. Truly the best years of my life. It was a journey of self discovery, emancipation, and evolution.

Why I support financial aid for international students: I support  financial aid for international students from around the world, but especially Pakistan, since I can see myself in so many of them. It is personal! Middlebury College is a global community, and therefore a diverse student body echoes this mantra perfectly.
