Dylan Redford ’15, a director and producer of the HBO docuseries Neighbors, spoke to Fader about casting through Craigslist as well as the paranoia animating disputes among neighbors. Redford and his codirector, Harrison Fishman, recounted having to pretend to smoke cannabis or spend time at a nudist community to gain trust with some of their subjects.
