    Faculty and staff are invited to this weekly sitting meditation group, hosted by Prof. Emily Proctor in conjunction with the Scott Center for Spiritual & Religious Life.  No experience is necessary, and cushions and chairs provided.  Held each Tuesday, 12:05-12:45 EST.

    The Quest to Find Missing Family with the Colibrí Center

    This event will bring families who are working with the Colibrí Center for Human Rights to find a missing family member lost during their migration into the United States through the Sonoran Desert. These family members are working with the Colibrí Center to identify human remains that might help families bring closure to their search. This event is organized in conjunction with the Hostile Terrain 94 exhibit in Center Gallery.

    Kimberly St. Julian Varnon: "Black Studies Perspectives on the Ukraine Invasion"

    As part of a new series of Black Studies teach-ins on current events, Kimberly St. Julian Varnon, an expert on Ukrainian history and Black Diasporas in Eastern Europe, will offer vital insights into the war, its impact on Black Ukrainians and Black residents of Ukraine, and the broader historical context of Russian imperialism. Kimberly St. Julian Varnon is a Penn Presidential PhD fellow in History at the University of Pennsylvania.
