  • CrossFit Middlebury Open Class

    CrossFit Middlebury hosts 1 hour workouts open to all students. CrossFit is “constantly varied, high-intensity functional movement” — a mix of gymnastics, weightlifing, and cardio. Beginners welcome!

    Auditions for the 29th Annual First Year Show!!

    Join us on Friday, September 16th from 6-9pm in MAC 232 to audition for the First Year Show. For 27 years and counting, we’ve welcomed incoming students by inviting them to be part of the First Year Show. This faculty-directed, ensemble production featuring scripts by Middlebury students comes together quickly—just in time for Fall Family weekend. It’s supported by a team of student designers and crew, making the show a great introduction to the department and the college.

    VSA staff will teach the art of making Vietnamese Jelly dessert. New and returning members are welcome to participate and bring home their dessert after they are done. Vegetarian and vegan friendly.

    Stargazing at Mittelman Observatory

    Mittelman Observatory will again host stargazing open house nights this autumn. These Observatory events are scheduled for Friday evenings, September 16, October 7, and October 28, from 8:30 PM until 10:00 PM, weather permitting.

    Jupiter and Saturn will be in the evening sky on some of these dates. A variety of interesting stars, star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies will be visible through the Observatory’s telescopes. The Observatory includes a 24-inch telescope in a dome and smaller telescopes on the roof deck.

    Womxn of Color Opening Brunch

    The AFC invites all student, faculty, and staff women of color to join us for a Saturday brunch! This Bridgerton-themed brunch will have watercolor painting, bouquet-making with fresh flowers from the knoll, a Bridgerton murder mystery for up to 20 players, Lady Whistledown scrapbooking, a raffle and other prizes, and the best thing—food! There will be catered breakfast from local restaurants. Dress-up is not required, but definitely welcome! This event is being capped at 140, so sign up soon!

  • MiddRuns TAM Trek

    The TAM Trek is a trail race and fun run to raise funds for the Trail Around Middlebury (TAM). The Middlebury Area Land Trust started building the TAM in 1989 and it now encircles the village of Middlebury, traveling through Cornwall, Weybridge, and New Haven. It links several hundred acres of town land, MALT conserved properties, schools, and other local landmarks over the course of 19 scenic miles.
