    "How did you get here?"

    On Thursday May 4th, from 4:30-6:00 in the Axinn lobby (near the waterfall), Middlebury’s 2022-2023 Narrative Journalism Fellowship will be hosting a listening event open to everyone. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. The event will be held in a gallery style fashion, so feel free to come at any time between 4:30 and 6:00 to listen to the podcasts.

    Russian and Ukrainian Orthodoxy in Light of the War in Ukraine

    The Rohatyn Center for Global Affairs program on Global and International History presents Dr. Scott Kenworthy, professor of comparative religion, Miami University and “Russian and Ukrainian Orthodoxy in Light of the War in Ukraine.” Dr. Kenworthy’s research interests focus on the history and thought of Eastern Orthodox Christianity, particularly in modern Russia. His most recent book is co-authored with Alexander Agadjanian, Understanding World Christianity: Russia (Fortress Press, 2021).

    Hamlet

    The Middlebury Department of Theatre presents Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy of revenge in a production where 10 actors all share the title role. Shakespeare’s masterpiece takes on new meaning when every person onstage embodies the idea that “there is something of Hamlet in us all.” Featuring Beck Barsanti, Brianna Beach, Annabelle Iredale, Naja Irvin-Conyers, Victoria Keith, Ben Knudsen, Peyton Mader, Charlie Porto, Charlotte Roberts, and Zeph Santiago as Hamlet.
