Why Health Inclusion Matters: From Research to Practice
David Napier and his colleagues at the University College London are developing health inclusivity indicators that improve our analysis of the social determinants of health. Some 40 countries are being assessed, 20% of which deny care to stigmatized groups. Judging from research thus far, low-income countries which lack the resources for universal health coverage often do better at the level of community engagement and inclusion than higher-income countries.Axinn Center 229
