  • CANCELLED Project-Based Learning Community of Practice Meeting

    The Project-Based Learning (PBL) Community of Practice is launching a semi-monthly schedule of meetings for faculty and staff interested in discussing, sharing, and providing mutual support for Project-Based Learning pedagogy. Each meeting features a theme or topic of interest related to PBL practice in the classroom, as well as discussion of activities and tasks being undertaken to provide faculty development and support and to develop institutional infrastructure.

    The Rohatyn Center for Global Affairs program on Global Anti-Racism presents Professor Yael (Yuli) Tamir, President of Beit Berl College and an adjunct professor at the Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University.

    Representing the Labor Party she served as Israel’s Minister of Immigration (1999-2001) and as Minister of Education (2006-2009), as well as the deputy speaker of the Knesset and a member of the Finance committee, the Education committee and the Security and Foreign Affairs committee.

  • Mental Health Forum

    The Mental Health committee of SGA in partnership with The Counseling Center is holding a series of forums about mental health resources on campus during the duration of Fall 2021. Students will be able to hear directly from the Director of Counseling, Alberto Soto, about updated counseling initiatives, ask questions, and offer direct feedback to administrators and student leaders of mental health support on campus. Please join us for the first forum of the academic year!

    Come learn to play Quidditch! Quidditch is a coed, inclusive sport that combines elements of rugby and dodgeball with a unique twist. Practices are held several times a week on Battell Beach, come down and have fun with us! Masks will be required.

    Ballet returns to the dance program this fall. Classical ballet technique in traditional ballet class structure. No point shoes, please. Each session is open to a maximum of 14 participants.
