Artist Talk and Conversation with Guest Artist Maree ReMalia
In this talk Maree ReMalia shares her journey through life and across mediums, from dance to writing to singing to boxing, via excerpts and explorations from her in-process solo performance, “with ourselves, with each other.” The solo aims to be a balm for the heart and a container for grief, an opening for joy, welcoming desire, acknowledging rage, and insisting on love, while exploring how a solo can become a gathering, a chorus, and a communal remembrance. Charting Progress on Europe’s Path to Climate Neutrality by 2050: Importance of transparency in meeting Paris Agreement
Suzanne Slarsky Dael ‘02 will return to campus for a conversation moderated by students Tashi Sherpa ‘24 (International and Global Studies) and Finn Warner ‘24.5 (Environmental Economics). The European Union has cut greenhouse gas emissions by almost a third since 1990 and is working towards its next target: net 55% reductions by 2030. Suzanne graduated as a Geography major and will share insights from her journey from Midd’s GIS lab to her current role monitoring this climate progress as Head of group on climate change mitigation, energy and transport at the European Environment Agency.Dana Auditorium (Sunderland Language Center)

Beginner/Intermediate Ballet with Barbara Doyle-Wilch
Ballet returns to the Dance Department this Spring. Classical Ballet technique in traditional ballet class structure. No pointe shoes, please.
Each session is open to a maximum of 20 participants. PE credit is available for attendance at 8 classes. Previous dance experience in any form is recommended.
