Pop-up! 3-D Books from Special Collections
Special Collections’ newest exhibit features 100 years of pop-up books from the fanciful to the functional, from science textbooks to fairy tales. The exhibit is installed in Davis Family Library on the Main Level.

Golf Yoga
Yoga can be tremendously enjoyable and of terrific benefit to a golfer, both physically and mentally. In our class, we will attend to both body and mind, with an emphasis on having ourselves a good time. Our routine will be accessible to most everyone, mixed with a few challenges to keep you on your toes. Even if yoga isn’t your thing, I can practically guarantee you’ll love the relaxation meditation we’ll do at the end of each class!

Cara Peterson, author of The Effortless Perfection Myth: Debunking the Myth and Revealing the Path to Empowerment for Today’s College Women is visiting campus in October, and the CTLR is excited to invite faculty and staff to a special lunchtime conversation with her about this phenomenon. What do we see in our campus culture? Would we know how to spot effortless perfectionism? What role can we play in addressing it?

Hebrew Language & Culture Club (HLC)
An engaging and fun way to learn a bit of Hebrew and experience and learn about Israeli culture.
Each week will provide something new and different according to students’ requests - including watching Israeli films and documentaries; Street Art in Israel; listening to Israeli Music; meeting interesting people from various sectors of Israel; and cooking and eating lots of Israeli foods.

Silent Bike Ride
Please join us for Silent Bike Ride hosted by Emily Jones ’23.5 to celebrate the life of Evelyn Mae Sorensen, Class of 2025. All who would like to join in a silent, monitored bike ride to honor Evelyn are invited to join at Parking Lot E (student lot) at 5 p.m. Helmets are mandatory and all traffic regulations for the six-mile, half-hour route must be observed. Candlelight Vigil Celebrating the Life of Evelyn Mae Sorensen, Class of 2025
All are invited to a candlelight vigil to honor, remember, and celebrate the life of Evelyn Mae Sorensen, Class of 2025. The remembrance will be held on the hillside in front of Middlebury Chapel. In case of inclement weather, the vigil will be held inside the chapel.
