    Weekly SOH Arts & Culture Hangout

    An engaging and fun way to experience and learn about Israeli art and culture.
    Each week will provide something new and different according to students’ requests - including making art and learning calligraphy; Mystical topics of spells, amulets, and witchcraft in ancient Judaism and contemporary Israel; watching Israeli films and shows; graffiti in Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem; listening to Israeli music; meeting interesting people from various sectors of Israel; and cooking and eating lots of Israeli foods.

    The Center for Careers and Internships has partnered with several other Vermont schools and the Vermont Department of Labor to bring you a virtual job fair focused on Vermont employers.

    Registering for the event is your first step to prepare for the fair. You will then get follow-up information on how to set up a time to speak with regional employers from all industries who are excited to hire college students.

    Body Process

    The Counseling Center presents “Body Process”: a counseling group to help students explore and process their relationships with their bodies. This is a confidential space for students to explore this issue with counseling interns Dana Williams and Sam Rothberg. The group will occur once per week on Thursdays from 1-2pm for the spring semester.

  • Inside the Nicaraguan Agroecology Movement: History and lessons of internationalism and anti-imperial movements

    Join Yorlis Gabriela Luna, a representative of the Farmworkers’ Association of Nicaragua (Asociación de Trabajadores del Campo - ATC) and the Latin American Institute of Agroecology (IALA Ixem Ulew,) to take a closer look at the agroecology and food sovereignty movement in Nicaragua. Together we’ll discuss the role of Sandinismo and peasant revolutionary thought in Nicaragua, solidarity and transnationalism in agroecology movements, and how it all applies to the Vermont context.
