    Every autumn, we invite families to join us at Fall Family Weekend and enjoy Vermont and our beautiful campus with their students. Check in at the Welcome Center and ask your questions, find out about weekend options, get a campus map, and grab some refreshments to take with you.

  • Self-Guided Art Museum Visits

    Fall Family Weekend visitors are invited to make free reservations to visit the Middlebury College Museum of Art’s recently reinstalled permanent collection galleries and special exhibitions, “Art & Protest: Artists as Agents of Social Change” and “A New Lens: Contemporary Video & Animation.” Spaces are limited and advance reservations are STRONGLY encouraged.

  • Big Tech and Socioeconomic Inequality

    The RCGA International and Global Colloquium series presents Gary Winslett, Assistant Professor of Political Science, and the lecture “Big Tech and Socioeconomic Inequality” on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 12:30-1:30 pm.

  • Biology Seminar Series- Student Presentations for Summer Research

    Students will give short presentations about their summer research as part of the Biology seminar series. These presentations give students and faculty an opportunity to learn more about the exciting research that is being conducted by Middlebury students over the summer.

  • FFW -- Islamic Prayer Service (Jumma)

    Join the Muslim Chaplain Saifa Hussain and members of the Muslim Student Association for Islamic Prayer Service (Jumma) on Friday at 1 PM. The location will be updated via the college’s Events Calendar in order to accommodate any potential changing protocols and needs.

  • Walking Tour of Outdoor Sculpture Led by Student Guides

    Fall Family Weekend visitors are invited to join student guides for a walking tour of Middlebury’s outdoor sculpture collection. Highlights of this 90-minute tour will include works by Shahzia Sikander, Vito Acconci, Joseph Beuys, Jules Olitski, Dan Graham, and Michael Singer.

    - Although this entire tour will be outdoors, participants will be expected to wear masks at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.
    - Tour will happen rain or shine; please plan accordingly.

  • FFW: Teeny Tiny Books Exhibition Tour

    Join Rebekah Irwin, Curator and Director of Special Collections & Archives, for an exhibit tour featuring the tiniest of books, ranging from handwritten religious texts to cookbooks, children’s books, and Shakespeare, ranging in size between 1.8 and 10 cm tall. Souvenir postcards and lapel buttons while they last! Meet in the atrium of the Davis Family Library.

    This event repeats at 4:00pm, same day.

    Come Join our Horticulturist on a Campus Tree Tour!
    Tim Parsons, horticulturist, will lead a tour around campus pointing out all of our various trees while sharing interesting stories along the way. Please meet at the front steps of Hillcrest.
