    The Green Mountain Club’s Bread Loaf Section and the Environmental Studies program present a talk on “Living with Bears” by Vermont Fish and Wildlife Bear Technician, Molly Byrne, “Living with Bears” will help us better understand our ursine neighbors and provide general information about bear ecology and behavior with a focus on their life cycle and food needs.

  • Middlebury First Responders: Training Event

    Open to the entirety of the Middlebury First Responders Club. We will hold trainings, informational sessions, and other activities for the club, learning and practicing skills on the topic of emergency medical services, firefighting, and general first response. Topics will vary from week to week.

    Special Collections’ newest exhibit features 100 years of pop-up books from the fanciful to the functional, from science textbooks to fairy tales. The exhibit is installed in Davis Family Library on the Main Level.

  • Compassion, Justice and Nonviolence: A Scott Center Interfaith Panel Discussion

    Join some of your favorite chaplains and others as they explore different worldviews’ and religions’ relationship to the powerful themes of compassion, justice and nonviolence.  Panel members include Rabbi Danielle Stillman, Muslim Advisor Zahra Moeini, Affiliate Christian Chaplain Katie Runde Sanchez, Affiliate Humanist Chaplain Prof. Bill Vitek, and Prof. Marc Lapin from the Environmental Studies Department, who will bring a Buddhist perspective.  Moderated by Professor Rebecca Gould.
