This one and a half hour training program is required for anyone who will drive a College vehicle, including rental of a College passenger vehicle or 15-passenger van. There is no cost for the class. NOTE: A driving orientation (a 1 hour review on the road) is required for 15-passenger vans and larger vehicles. You must have also had a valid state driver’s license for at least 3 years in order to drive a 15-passenger van.

Eight Middlebury students just returned from a conference in DC about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. They heard from speakers including Bernie Sanders, Madeline Albright, and Tim Kaine, and want to share some of this experience with you! Join J Street U in a discussion about current political thought surrounding Israel, Palestine, and a two-state solution. No background knowledge required!

This one hour training program will certify an individual as a Crowd Manager for a three year period. A certified Crowd Manager is required for any event where the assembled capacity exceeds 50 or more people.

Students for Hillary will be meeting to discuss plans for the semester and make calls to get out the vote on Super Tuesday!

The goal for this workshop is to begin with a famous text from an ‘Eastern’ tradition that journeys into the complex and often conflicting dharmas that exist in a human life. Then, from this foundation, we move to a discussion of a topic that seems to have embroiled our community. On what source does one rely to determine the role that one should play as a professor when it comes to ‘free speech’? What are we to make of the Gita’s call to let go of the fruits of our actions when it comes to advocating for, protecting or expanding ‘free speech’?
