October 7th Memorial & Gathering
- Sponsored by:
- Jewish Association of Middlebury
Three years after the attack on October 7 we come together to be in community as we remember those who were killed that day, and in the war and hostage taking that followed. After a short ceremony of remembrance, we will hear from Professor of Hebrew Michal Strier, who will share her personal experience during the last three years as an Israeli who has family and friendship ties to kibbutzim that were attacked. Afterward, there will be a chance to ask questions and to reflect through art, writing, or speaking on what we have lost in the past three years.
