Once a package arrives on campus, it must be logged into our tracking system.  You will receive an email from Middlebury when your package is ready to be picked up at the McCullough Mail Center.

  • Package location depends on size.
  • All packages will be processed via the QTrak system.
  • Location will be noted in an email received (Locker System Bank # 1 or Bank #2)
  • Packages too large for lockers will be in the mailroom.
  • An email will be sent stating the location.

Perishable Goods

Perishables must be clearly labeled as such and must be picked up within 2 business days of notification.  We do not have the ability to refrigerate packages.  The Mail Center reserves the right to discard any perishable items that have not been picked up within 2 days.

Alcohol

We refuse all shipments of alcohol to students.

Instacart, Uber Eats, Same-Day Shipments

The Mail Center does not receive same-day shipments from apps such as Instacart or Uber Eats.  If you order through one of these carriers, it is your responsibility to meet the delivery driver in an outdoor location when they arrive on campus.  Please be aware, these drivers are often unfamiliar with the Middlebury campus and if they cannot reach you, they may leave your items unlabeled near a building entrance where it is likely to become lost or damaged.

Prohibited Items

Packages that clearly contain items prohibited per the Residential Life Policies in the handbook should not be shipped to the college.  If a prohibited item is received, it may be returned to the sender and Residential Life may be notified. Residential Life Policies

The most common cause for this type of delay is the mail/package is not addressed correctly or is missing information.  Packages are often sent with wrong box numbers, addresses, names or even ripped labels.  Any mail or package that we cannot identify will be held for 14 days.  If you do not receive a package notification from the Mail Center and the carrier has notified you that the package was delivered, please contact the Mail Center, and provide your tracking information, date of delivery and any other information that may help identify your package.  Packages or mail that are left unclaimed are returned to sender.

  • Air Conditioners (personal/window ACs are not allowed in any residence hall)
