Rebekah oversees the rare book and manuscript collections, college archives, digital projects initiatives, and the conservation and preservation of Middlebury’s library collections. In 2020, she co-founded and serves as Associate Director of The Twilight Project. Before coming to Middlebury in 2011, Rebekah worked in archives and special collections in Bozeman, Montana, at the Wisconsin State Historical Society, and at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, at Yale University. She co-hosted the award-winning show “Stacks & Tracks” on WRMC, Middlebury’s student-run radio station, and has been a repeated guest on Vermont Public Radio. Rebekah has lectured and consulted on rare books, archives, and oral histories around the world, including the Library of Alexandria in Egypt, the Rachel Carson Center in Munich, Germany, the Middlebury College-CMRS Oxford Humanities Program in Oxford, England, in Kolkata and Delhi, Indian, and in Kathmandu, Nepal.
