As well as being a research and instruction librarian and the subject specialist for the physical sciences, Wendy is the science data specialist who can help with data management planning, analysis, and preservation.
She can provide assistance through one-on-one appointments (make an appointment with me), in-class instruction sessions (send me an email to discuss instruction), or through online research guides, tutorials, or other instructional materials.
Wendy is the lead on the Repository Team, and manages the Middlebury Institutional Repository. If you have a question about submitting your data or scholarship, contact Repository, or reach out to Wendy directly.
Current institutional service includes MiddLab, midd.data Steering Committee, and the Spring Student Symposium Committee.
Current community service includes the Carpentries (teaching foundational coding and data science skills to students and researchers), astronomical outreach at Mittelman Observatory, and a sewing lab mentor at The Makery at Hannaford Center, a local maker space.
