Quidditch: A Name-Changer

Real-life quidditch, inspired by the magical game in Harry Potter, is changing its name, citing author J. K. Rowling’s “anti-trans positions in recent years.” The mixed-gender team sport was founded at Middlebury by Xander Manshel ’09, MA English ’14 and Alex Benepe ’09, who is a “strong advocate” of the move.
