Triumphs in Athletics

Middlebury Athletics has a number of notable achievements to celebrate. The women’s ice hockey team won its 24th straight game and captured the NESCAC championship. NESCAC honored multiple Panthers, among them coach of the year Bill Mandigo and player of the year Madie Leidt ’22. Jake Adicoff (Bowdoin ’18) and his guide Sam Wood ’19 earned silver in the men’s visually impaired long-distance cross-country ski at the Paralympics. Finally, Assistant Director of Athletic Communications Ali Paquette was honored by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) with the 2022 Rising Star Award.
