Before a proposal can be submitted, we will work with you to ensure that it is complete, accurate, and has the best chance possible of being funded.

Additionally, it is critical to ensure all needed internal approvals are in place so that, once funded, the project can begin on schedule. Middlebury uses InfoEd’s online research administration system to gather critical data about each proposal, upload drafts of the proposal and budget documents for review, and electronically route the proposal to department chairs and relevant members of the academic administration for required endorsements.

Once all approvals are in place and the proposal content has been finalized, OGSP is authorized to submit the proposal on behalf of the PD/PI, or in cases where the proposal can be submitted by email or mail, notify the PD/PI that it is ready to submit.
