You will have a combination of small group sessions with mentors, prerecorded sessions, podcasts, community building reflections, and collaborate with peers, all delivered online. Synchronous class time will happen be between 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. EST, but the full four hours may not be required everyday. Here is an example of a typical day

MiddCORE remote will have sessions that are required to participate in live and will take about 30-40 hours a week of your time. There is also group work that is required and you’ll be expected to meet with your team. If your other project is flexible and has minimal hours then it is a personal decision about balancing both opportunities. 

A

MiddCORE participants located outside the U.S. will join the program from abroad, and will not need a U.S. visa status to participate in 2021.

Individuals already in the U.S. may participate in MiddCORE offered remotely (i.e. not on-site/not in-person), if their visa status allows for full-time study in that format. Those who are unsure should consult with the sponsor of their visa (their school or employer) or an immigration attorney to confirm.

You can expect synchronous learning to occur daily between the hours of 9:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Additional synchronous group work will be scheduled by participants.
