Lavender Graduation 

Lavender Graduations are celebrated across the nation at other higher education institutions to honor the achievements of graduating LGBTQIA+ students.  

Lavender Graduation aims to recognize and celebrate the experience of graduating LGBTQIA+ students and soon-to-be alumni. Lavender Graduation is open to all graduating LGBTQIA+ students—whether they have been involved in LGBTQIA+ student organizations or with the broader LGBTQIA+ community. This ceremony is intended to be a reclamation of Middlebury as their own—a final ode to their perseverance, achievements, and explorations as LGBTQIA+ Middlebury students. Students graduating in the spring and the following February are able to participate in the annual celebration.

Lavender Graduation for 2024 and 2024.5 LGBTQIA+ grads will take place on Saturday, May 11 at 6pm. RSVPs will open soon.
