"Release Peace Magazine" 2025-2026
The Rohatyn Global Fellows have partnered with Release Peace — a non-profit, non-partisan organization (headquartered in The Hague) whose work in the peace and security fields includes interaction with high-level personnel at the EU, US State Department, UN ambassadors, and others. This partnership offers Rohatyn Global Fellows opportunities to work with professional editors to author and publish articles on a range of geopolitical, historical, global, or cultural issues in the organization’s online magazine,Release Peace.
“The Visible and Invisible Traumas of the War in Ukraine”
July 2026 - Sophiia Tretiak ’27, a Rohatyn Global Fellow and Psychology major at Middlebury College and Allison Tate ’27, a Public Policy major at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at UMICH, with minors in International and Comparative Studies (PICS) and Community Action and Social Change (CASC) have collaborated and co-authored an article in Release Peace Magazine.
“Recovery does not end when a prosthetic limb is fitted or a physical wound heals. Recovery encompasses not only rehabilitation services but also sustained psychological support, social acceptance, and reintegration pathways that enable survivors to reclaim their identity and a sense of belonging.”
